This is my 3rd pair of these in tortoise with amber polarized lenses, I have owned several other high end glasses in between, and keep coming back to the Ray Ban 4057. These sunglasses are creme de la creme when it comes to style, comfort, great lens and especially versatility. Their versatility is not limited to occasions when the glasses are appropriate (virtually any), but also to the shape of face that "can" wear them...simply put, these shades look good on ANYONE and make ANYONE look good. The length of time Ray Ban has run this model (4-5 years I believe) speaks to its volume and likeability. I would put my money on this model becoming a staple in their lineup for years to come, so I wouldn't worry about them going out of style.
