The Fathom is designed with corrosion-resistant stainless steel hinges, adjustable wire core temples and special materials on the saddle nose bridge and temples to ensure comfort and minimize slippage. Three hole vents reduce fogging. The Costa Del Mar logo is engraved on the temples. These Costa Del Mar Sunglasses have lightweight polarized glass lenses that provide amazing clarity and 100% UV protection.

These glasses have great lenses however the rest of the Costa Del Mar Fathoms are very poor quality. The hinges are prone to brakages and the temples have the potential to wear very quickly with the rubber insterts. I bought a pair of Maui Jim Lagoons in place of the Fathoms and they are far better quality for a lesser cost.

never had a better pair of cheap glasses. great fro fishing and every day use, ive dropped them out of my truck while driving down the road and they didnt have a scratch and i didnt even get the nice lenses. every one says, i like your glassses, i feel like im not even wearing anything, thats how comfortable they are
