Although I usually wear a classic pair of shades, I needed something a little more sporty - casual sunglasses for the beach. These did the job and then some... Find myself wearing them all the time! I hadn't known much about A-Kurtz before I got these, but I'm glad I did: the design is simple and practical, and seems to suit a lot of faces (my friends all asked where I got them!). They have great coverage, and the tint is effective without being super dark. With light-blue eyes, I always look for a polarized lens and A-Kurtz delivered. I would ordinarily expect to pay a lot more for sunglasses of this quality.
