Each frame is made without any potentially harmful metal hinges or pointed edges. The lenses and frame are made of scratch & impact-resistant polycarbonate. Each UV 400 category-3 lens is Rx-able and ensures 100% UVA/UVB protection. Each frame is: lead-free; no bisphenol-A; no phthalates. All My First Shades sunglasses come with a re-usable pouch.
